Some people think the best way to solve traffic congestion in cities is to provide free public transport 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some people vehemently assert, providing free public transport will unconditionally solve traffic congestion issues. I completely disagree with these people. The following reasons are explained below.
Firstly
Linking Words
, indeed public transport solves issues related to road congestion but, high taxes have to be paid by citizens in order to run these buses. A committee has to be opened for meticulous monitoring. The requirement of high fuel and gas is essential for riding these public transport buses.
Additionally

, the agency has to build bus stations for picking of their citizens.
For example
Linking Words
, In a city like Hyderabad there is a station for every 2km of distance.
Secondly
Linking Words
, providing free of cost services requires high labour as well as experienced drivers. In fact, the question of paying high amounts of salary is still a question mark.
Moreover
Linking Words
, maintaining these public stations require heavy man-labour.
For instance

, the bus stations have to be maintained or sanitized at every hour of the clock
in addition

, it requires funds to reconstruct its building. In the end, I would like to suggest that public transportation is one of the best innovative ideas to stop issues like traffic congestion. But, paying for a ticket can help the government to function properly.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
