‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

This industrial revolution expanded all over the world and countries started their own economic indexes. As more and more people became aware of earnings, investments, and economics, they started to discuss more about their earnings and expenditures. Nowadays, young people are at a stage of having a higher pay grade and they a lot of expenditure on different kinds of products.
