Some people think that countries should limit the amount of food that they import and mainly eat products from their own country. To what extent do you agree or disagree

Food
is the basic necessity of life. It is said by some individuals that countries should not spend money on the
import
of
food
items and they should eat
foodgrains
from their own country. I agree with the aforementioned statement that countries should
import
food
items and my viewpoints will be elaborated in the following paragraphs.
To begin
with, some countries face the shortage of
food
items so they
import
the
food
products from those nations which produce
foodgrains
in huge quantity.
For instance
,
Accept space
,
India is the largest producer of wheat
,
Accept space
,
rice and pulses and it exports these items to other nations and many countries
are relied
Suggestion
rely
on India for
food
products. Another benefit of importing items is that it is the source of income for many countries because some of the nations produce these
food
items in abundance.
Furthermore
, if countries will not
import
food items
Suggestion
food items, then
then
it will become difficult for them to store those in their country and there will be the chances of wastage of
foodgrains
Suggestion
food grains
. Another reason is that some of the countries have suitable climatic conditions for producing
food
products so they have the capability of producing those items and some countries do not have suitable climatic conditions so they depend on other countries. To recapitulate, I would like to write that if countries will stop
import
Suggestion
the import
of products than they would be unable to satisfy the wants of their consumers.
