, women's sports is now gaining interest in some viewers, but still it does not have the amount of support required to reach mass audiences.

evolving and adopting new sports which were earlier known to be played only by men.

For instance

, many sports like Cricket and Football were not played by women about a decade ago, but with trend of women empowerment we are now having tournaments especially for women.

, there are still several people who do not even know the women's sports involves sports other than badminton and tennis.

lack of knowledge is

responsible for the less fan following of women's sports which

leads to the considerably less screen time of women's sports shows than men's sports shows.
