The debate surrounding public health responsibility pits two important perspectives against each other. In my opinion, I agree that governments play a more crucial role compared with individuals in this area.

Some people say that the best way to improve public health is by increasing the number of sports facilities. Others, however, say that this would have little effect on public health and that other measures are required.
The way to improve public health is very difficult to define. Because it means so many different things to different people. While some people link increasing the number of sports facilities and attracting people to the gym, Others think it is relative to a balanced diet. Yet others think that a clean environment rather than either regular exercise or healthy food is the only way to improve public healthy. Because people interpret helthy lifestyles in so many different ways for themselves it is difficult to give any deffinition that is true for everyone.

Other people think there are benefits if society has more elderly people. To what extent do the advantages of having an ageing population outweigh the disadvantages?
It has become increasingly common today for individuals to live longer than they did in past generations. Although many point out that aging populations hinder a nation economically, I would argue that the benefits for society as a whole overshadow these perceived drawbacks.
