Some people believe that the arts should receive money from the government and big companies. Others feel such spending is a luxury and that it would be better if it were invested in scientific projects. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

There are people whose common opinion

that authorities and large corporations ought to invest a fund to the arts, while others believe scientific projects are better to receive that vast amount. I agree with the view that
money
should be invested in scientific projects. On the one hand,
money
may seem very important for the arts.
Firstly
, with that big amount of
money
, many international and national arts,
such
as paintings, sculptures, and ancient buildings, can conserve their original value.
That is
why nowadays, people can still observe many masterpieces from the
last
generations.
Secondly
, if humans are surrounded by arts, our mental health might be improved and have more positive thinking.
Therefore
money
invested is necessary, because arts affect indirectly the development of the human mind. One the other hand, scientific projects may need a lot of support, especially realistic

First
of all, environmental problems have increased dramatically

money
is essential in the making of them.
For example
, two researchers from Chile have invented a material functioning like plastic but can dissolve in water. In the future, they hope to collect more

this
material and rebuild animals and even human habitat.
Moreover

expand human knowledge about space, time, ancient history.
Thus

from governments and large companies, life quality might be enhanced and work may be easier and less stressful.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
