It can be seen that the area of vegetation coverage was increased in Asia and Europe in 2005 compared to 1990, the reverse is true for the African, North American, Oceania, and South American continents. had noticeable deforestation which brought its forested land from 946 to 904 and 882

hectares from 1990, 2000, and 2005 respectively. Oceania region does not show a significant decrease compared to other regions that were discussed. It only decreased by 1

hectares per every 5 years where it started from 199
million
in the year 1990. It can be seen that North America had a change in its
forest
cover from 708
million
hectares in 1990 to 705
million
hectares in the year 2000 and was maintained at a constant level up to the year 2005.
