Some people believe that school children should not be given homework by their teachers, whereas others argue that homework plays an important role in the education of children. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Students are getting more and more
practice
from their tutors these days.
This
method helps children to study well and gain better knowledge on the subject, and
also
to pass the exam with ease. Home
practice
helps students,
although
more pressure can take away their free time.
This
essay will discuss the merits and demerits of homework. On the one hand, homework helps children to get wast knowledge on the topic,
also
makes them study more on the subject. Giving more and more work to do at home, which makes them a good knowledgable student on the subject.
This
will help the students to perform well in the exam and score better results. A recent survey which is conducted by London university showed that 90% of the students who did
practice
on time are passed the exam on the
first
attempt.
On the contrary
, more
practice
can take away the students free time. Students should be encouraged to play in the ground on the evenings which will in-turn helps them to become more pro-active. Because of more homework after school day will not allow children to go out to play or spend an hour with their parents.
For example
, it's better to allow them to go out to play with other children in the evening and make them spend around 1 to 2 hours in the night on reading which makes them more relaxed and enjoys their moment. I agree that tutors should give the task to children;
however
, it shouldn't be a burden for them.
This
may force them to concentrate only on their textbooks,
this
in return may make them less interested in the study.
Also
, students should give an opportunity to know general knowledge, about the world and what is going on in and around them.
