In this modern era, sports become popular among people and people spend a lot of their money on this. So, encouraging children to get into sports at an early age would be beneficial for their country. I will discuss these points in upcoming paragraphs.

Nowadays, a lot men and women are no longer as healthy as they used to be in the past. This is due to a plethora of factors which include the following; lack of exercises, eating unhealthy fast foods and advancement of technology to emtion only a few. To deal with these problems, education and awareness campaigns can be implemented nationwide, schools can make physical activities compulsory at school and gym fares can be reduced to motivate people to exercise. Although people used to spend a big proportion of their time watching TV shows, this trend is in a constant decrease nowadays. Spending too much time in front of TV content poses a formidable threat to youngsters, depreciating their time value and health. I uphold the view that the substitution of this habit with a prolific one may eventually halt the time spent watching television.

As a result, some people believe that non-academic subjects, such as physical education and cookery, should be removed from the school syllabus so that children can concentrate on academic work. There is a common belief among many people that academic subjects, such as math, physics, business studies, should be the only subjects included in the school syllabus. The reason being, society value the students who excell in these subjects at much higher standards than others. However, I think other topics hold their own value and firmly disagree to the notion that these subjects should be excluded from the curriculum.
