When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try keep them alive. To what extent do you agree with this opinion?

Technology
has replaced human work in many areas of
life
. The
further
we dive into a more technological world the more we leave conventional skills and practices behind. Though some people argue that the replacement of
such
skills ultimately leads to the end of ways of
life
, I agree that countries develop and invest in
technology
for they can provide a better
life
and grow ourselves as a being. It is undeniable that
technology
has improved the human's quality of
life
. Since the industrial revolution, humans have drastically increased their
life
expectancy across the globe. The impacts of technological advancements in modern
society
is huge and provide us with a more affordable and easy way of
life
.
For instance
, a couple of hundred of years ago the invention of the lightbulb caused a disruption in
society
, where many jobs were lost and plenty others were created.
As a result
of that invention, it is now unthinkable to live without electricity in modern
society
.
Thus
, though
technology
creates disruption and eradicates more traditional trades, it benefits the lives of millions and pushes
society
forward. That being said, in modern
society
, it is known that we as a specie will have to become a more developed being in order to continue to inhabit
this
planet. And
technology
will play a huge role in it. Advancements in science, biology, physics, and other areas are essential to explore the earth's resources responsibly and to its fullest.
For example
, the recent scientific search for clean sources of energy is a great investment that will enable us to enhance our knowledge and grow as a civilization by exploring and sustainable using the resources we have access to.
Consequently
, as we develop as a civilization we
also
develop ourselves as human beings. To conclude, the eradication of more traditional skills is not always a negative thing. The replacement of
such
tasks with
technology
can, and most likely will, provide us with a better quality of
life
and a
society
developed to its fullest capacity.
