Statistics have shown that there is a significant increase in criminal cases being reported in many countries around the world. The number of different issues could be blamed for

 escalating numbers in
crime
 while many actions could be taken to address those issues.
This
 essay will shed some light on different possible causes and solutions to those causes. People are motivated to do a
crime
 due to many reasons. One major cause could be the increase in poverty which result in many people suffering from hunger. These situations
such
 as the inability to afford food can lead a person to try crimes like stealing and theft with the aim to arrange some money and provide food for his or her family.
Secondly
, many criminals are found to be the product of fascinating negative movie characters.
For example
, one of a
crime
 under police custody in India confessed that he murdered many people because he likes to be “Khalnayak”, a very cruel movie character played by a famous filmstar Sunjay Dutt. There are many ways through which
such
 incidents can be reduced. Governmental policies and strict parental guidance can play an important part in the act to counter
such
 a rise in
crime
. The government should subsidise necessary food products and medical for the people, as well as all of the basic necessities, must be free of cost from the government so that people would not be worried about their basic survival needs. Parents,
on the other hand
, must keep an eye on what their children are watching and liking on TV or the internet and ensure that proper guidance is provided to the child from an early age. Teaching difference between right and wrong to the child from an early age would help develop a strong mindset of the child. In a summary, poor economic condition and finding criminal acts fascinating plays an important role in developing a criminal mindset.
Such
 issues must be addressed by the government through appropriate policies, and parents providing healthy learnings to the children from the start.
