In some countries, the governments pay the unemployed people on a weekly basis. How would this impact people as well as government? Do you agree or disagree with that?

Unemployment has been always the burning issue for many governments in the world and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is surging at an alarming rate. The developed countries, who have a surplus budget can afford to pay the jobless people either on a weekly
basis
or monthly
basis
. In my opinion, incentivise the unemployed are disadvantageous for any country and
hence
the
government
shall not pay them on a weekly
basis
. As mentioned above, remunerating the jobless weakly or monthly will lead to an economical draught for any administration in long term. Especially, the weekly payment will discourage them to search for alternative livelihood and make them handicapped. Verbal experience stated that due to
such
kind of monetary help, the people chose the be with no jobs so that they can earn for free. The people are smarter to tweak the prerequisites to avail the grant for a longer time of 5 years

.
Such
kind of mentalities levy more burden on the budgetary allocation of the city or country and

overnment has to negotiate on other important development aspects. The dilemma can be clearly explained by an example. In a developing country like India, the
government
had announced a scheme called "Antyoday Yojana" that remunerate the unemployed by evaluating their employment details through their specific ID.
However
, just after 5 years, it was found that there were 5,00,000 fake IDs generated by the unemployed people to avail the double benefits and the administration
then
had to discard them. The financial, as well as development loss of these 5 years and 1.5 cr citizens, cannot be compensated by any means.
Nevertheless
, the unemployed person shall be incentivised in other ways
such
as providing free education to their children, free health care system, subsidized loan for small businesses which encourage them to be on a pay-roll and independent. Apart from
this
, the
government
shall put their hand and feet down to accelerate economic development along with skilling programs to reduce unemployment. In conclusion, I strongly disagree that the
government
should provide monetary help to unemployed people on weekly
basis
, rather they should invest
this
money to create more jobs and skilling programs.
