A friend of yours is thinking of going on a camping holiday for the first time this summer. He/she has asked for your advice. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter, explain why you think your friend would enjoy a camping holiday describe some possible disadvantages say whether you would like to go camping with your friend this summer
Dear Tom,
It was great visiting you
last
month in Toronto. I loved our trips around the city enjoying the cuisine, local art and Correct your spelling
nightlife
night life
. I am back in Vancouver and have gotten busy with my office work. Since you mentioned in your Correct your spelling
nightlife
last
email that you’ll be coming to Vancouver this
summer for a camping trip
, I am happy to share some tips for your trip
to make it more enjoyable.
First
of all, I think you’ll really love the camping trail near Vancouver, more so as summers would be the perfect time with clear open skies and good visibility. Given this
is your first
camping trip
, the route would be perfect as it is a relatively easy climb up to the camping spot as compared to other routes near the place. The park also
organizes a couple of events during summers to keep the visitors engaged.
I should, however
, warn you about some disadvantages. As this
would be the peak tourist season, you may find the camping spots a bit crowded with tourists who often leave the trail littered with trash. There have also
been few reports of snakes’ sightings on the path which come out of hiding in summers but it should be okay as long as you are aware of where you are stepping.
If you wish, I can tag along with you and guide you on the camping trip
as I have visited the camp quite a number of times and am familiar with the route. I am sure with my help, we can make your visit memorable.
I look forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
