Your local bookshop has invited members of the public to recommend a guest speaker for an upcoming event that will include a series of talks from well-known people. Write an e-mail to the bookshop. In your e-mail • suggest a speaker •say what they would contribute to the event • explain why other people would be interested too

Dear Sir, I am writing
this
letter to you with regards to the invitation that was given out to all members of the bookshop, recommending a person who could address the gathering for our tenth-year anniversary. I would like to move that we invite Mr Krishnakumar, who in my opinion, would be the most appropriate person to speak to the public. Since he has actively been doing community service for our town from the past few decades. Even though he is not formally educated, he has gained a lot of experience through providing service, which could be shared among the participants of the function.
Furthermore
, his books that index about helping our people and the neighbourhood to develop, are already on the display of your shop. It would prove to be a great inspiration for the youngsters in the area, who
also
look up to him as their guide in many aspects. I strongly believe that his presence would elevate the value of our event, as his speech usually is very interactive and would keep the audience intrigued. I hope my suggestion would interest the committee, and look forward to knowing the result of
this
selection. Thanking you, Yours Sincerely, Asha
