Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

The graph above displays the amount of houses built per
year
in two cities: Derby and Nottingham, from 2000 to 2009. Overall, the main tendency in two analysed cities, was to construct more houses with the passing years.
Nevertheless
,
this
trend was not constant, and differed in each
city
. Turning to the
first
city
of Nottingham, number of accommodation fluctuated there over the following years. It needs to be outlined that from 2002 to 2005, numbers moderately had increased. Notwithstanding, in 2006 the level of constructed houses per
year
, dramatically plunged, and hit a low in comparison with other years showed on the graph. After
this
event, the number started to ascend and plummeted again in 2008.
On the other hand
,
city
of Derby was not touched by any
such
drastic and rapid drop in the number of constructed houses per
year
. The amount of houses built per
year
rose gradually over the following years,
nevertheless
it cannot be overlooked that in the period from 2003 to 2007 the numbers remained constant. As to compare the data, the discrepancy between two, mentioned above cities, needs to be highlighted. Despite the fact that the
city
of Derby did not lead in the numbers of houses through all the years presented on the graph, in the final
year
the
city
outnumbered the Nottingham.
