onger time to move from point A to Point B.
For instance
, according to a recent survey by google map team, on average travelling time has become double in the
last
five years in the major metropolitan cities around the globe.
In addition
, cars are a major source of pollution in the megacities. Because the majority of the automobiles are relying on combustion engine technology which burns fuels as a source of energy to run cars, it adds carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. In order to cater the above-mentioned problems, people should switch to public transportation as a major source of travel. when people utilize buses or trains, there will be fewer vehicles on the roads.
As a result
, there would be less traffic which will help to cut the travel time to half.
Furthermore
, it will reduce the carbon footprint on the environment.
Although
buses
also
burn fossil fuels, it is still comparable less damaging to the environment than the private vehicles because these cars are so many in number.
Therefore
, it is clear why public buses or trains is a viable solution. To conclude, while over-reliance on the personal vehicle has to lead to traffic jams and air pollution, use of public transportation as an alternative medium of travel could greatly reduce the above problems.
Thus
, I would recommend the government should make public buses more accessible and convenient to the citizens.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.
