More and more people are moving to big cities these days. Discuss advantages and disadvantages of living in a large city.

Metropolitans are always seen as a land of opportunity and the majority of the population is shifting to large cities nowadays. There are some benefits and drawbacks of moving to a big
city
. In
this
essay, I will discuss both sides of the argument. Apparently, cities are more prone to pollution as compared to small towns and the cost of living is
also
on the higher side.
For example
, my friend daily spends 1 hour in traffic to reach office, which adds to pollution and is heavy on the pocket too. The property in metropolitans is very expensive, it is almost
next
to impossible to own a house in a
city
and since they are so densely populated, health issues related to pollution in these
areas
is a common thing.
On the other hand
, urban
areas
are full of opportunities and provide better infrastructure as compared to rural or small
areas
.
For example
, many of my cousins completed their college in Delhi and found a job immediately in the same
city
after completing their course. People come to these cities looking for opportunities and they find the same in abundance. These urban
areas
provide them with the facilities which enable them to fulfil their dreams. Cosmopolitans are polluted and expensive,
however
, they provide the amenities and the foundation to achieve goals. Living in a big
city
has both negative and positive sides to it but, living in a small town is better as it puts less burden on your wallet and provides a better environment to live.
