In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

With the advent of e-
books
, the relevance of printed materials is slowly dying out. According to the forecasts of contemporaries, in the near

electronic resources should replace the printing industry, which still has a large audience. Printed
books
and
newspapers
have many advantages over e-
books
. The printed book and the newspaper can be read everywhere,
for example
, in the bath, on the beach, while the electronic versions are simply impossible to read in
such
places. Printed
books
, among other things, do not need to be recharged. Electronic devices are good for their convenience and affordability. The
last
advantage is associated with the exorbitant price of printed
books
- apparently, it is not going to go down, or rather, it grows from season to season.
For example
, L. Tolstoy's novel "Anna Karenina" costs about 4000

in bookstores, and the electronic version can be downloaded absolutely free of charge.
In addition
, For people with low vision, electronic media is ideal – it is possible to increase the font and brightness on them. Since the devices are equipped with a large amount of memory, dozens of
books
can be downloaded into them at the same time. I agree that e-reading online will replace reading printed
books
and
newspapers
. There is no doubt that like paper

and
newspapers
, electronic have their own advantages and disadvantages.
Nevertheless
, despite some peculiarities of printed
books
and
newspapers
, e-
books
are and will be in our lives - modern people prefer progress and convenience.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
