You are renting a flat from an agency. Your contract was for one year but you need to leave the flat two months early. Write a letter to the agency. In your letter • introduce yourself • ask to leave the flat before the contract finishes • explain why you need to break the contract.
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Dave and I have been renting your apartment for the past 6 months which is located on Hamilton street. I am sure you are aware that I always pay the rent on time as well as take care of things.
Yesterday, my manager transferred me to the company’s other branch, and I have to go there to continue my job. Because of
this
situation, I am afraid that I have to break the rental agreement, as I cannot stay here anymore.
I was a responsible tenant and there is no damage to the apartment, you can visit in order to confirm it. I am requesting you to allow me to leave prior to the end of the contract, and also
wish that you would refund the deposit of two months at your earliest convenience. You can send the deposit to my bank account which I gave you at the time of signing the agreement.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Dave BatistaSubmitted by dilpreethayer456 on
