In the modern age, some people think it is unnecessary to teach children the skill of handwriting. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

✨ Do you want to improve your IELTS writing?
At present, many people argue that the
skill
of handwriting is useful or not for
students
in schools.
This
essay will discuss
this
argument and explain the reason why I agree with holding
this
ability
in schools. On the one hand, I think it is indubitable that some people think calligraphy is not necessary to teach in the school as it is unpractical for
students
. When
students
enter societies in the future, they should be equipped with all kinds of practical skills and knowledge to deal with many problems in their own life and work. Obviously, the
skill
of handwriting has become an old school technique, which has been replaced by all kinds of cutting-edge technologies
such
as the SIRI on the iPhone, Typing on the keyboard.
In contrast
with the speaking and the typing of a computer input method, the handwriting cannot show the superiority of the productivity in the office working and the convenience of daily routine life.
On the other hand
, the
ability
of handwriting is an eligible training method for children to promote their concentrated
skill
.
Students
need to possess the
ability
to focus on learning as well as withstand a variety of disturbing sources and temptations.
This
means that handwriting
ability
can help
students
develop their potential for brains and enhance their patience. Eventually, the handwriting
skill
will indirectly help
students
step into societies and collect success in the future. In conclusion, in the modern age, calligraphy is not a longer useful
skill
in real life, but handwriting training has a positive impact on the
students
. I agree that schools remain
this
traditional training method.
