Pollution of rivers, lakes and seas is a major concern for people who seek to protect the environment. What are the possible causes of water pollution, and what effects does this have on animal life and human society?

One of the most important concerns of environmentalists is the pollution of the rivers, seas and
lakes
.
People
who care for nature and planet earth are seeking to protect
waters
from pollution. I think the main reason for
this
problem is industrial
wastes
. Industries are now dumping an increasing amount of
wastes
into the earth's oceans. These
wastes
include radioactive components of the nuclear sites, hospital, biomedical, and petroleum
wastes
. Nuclear
wastes
are so dangerous that they must be deposited in the deep holes into the earth's subsurface with lead shields to keep radiation waves from leakage out.
However
, some countries do not pay attention to these safety protocols and dump them into the seas and oceans.
Moreover
, oil companies can cause enormous environmental issues.
For instance
, a few years ago, one of the oil wells of the BP company blasted, and an unbelievable amount of oil spread out into the sea and polluted all the
waters
around from the rivers to
lakes
. It killed thousands of
fishes
. Industrial
wastes
pollute the earth’s
waters
, which put the lives of all living creaturs directly and indirectly in danger. Toxic
waters
can lead to the death of aquatics, which indirectly affects the lack of food both for humans and animals
such
as birds who consume
lakes
fishes
or bears who capture the river
fishes
.
In addition
, polluting the
waters
infect the underground and potable
waters
that make
people
sick. It
also
can ruin agricultural products and damage the trees.
For example
, the
wastes
from the
first
factory in the United States that manufactured Tefal pans and pots cause all nearby
waters
such
as
lakes
and rivers to be poisoned.
People
got serious diseases, some of them had painful death, many trees were destroyed, and many
fishes
died because of that toxic water. In conclusion, water pollution
as a result
of unloading industrial
wastes
impacts all humans, wildlife, and nature. It has the potential to kills animals, makes
people
sick, damages trees and agricultural products. The government must intervene by making new preventative laws.
