Many efforts have been made by countries to address challenges concerning the environment but the situation have not improved. What are the possible reasons for environmental degradation? Are there any solution to combat this problem? Support your answers with specific reasons and example.

Environmental issues, these days, has been a serious concern across the globe even after taking effective steps towards
this
situation.
However
, there are various reasons that play a vital role behind degradation, but it is not impossible to solve it, after finding the correct reasons.
This
essay will discuss both problems and solutions for a better environment. The
first
and foremost reason behind the poor quality of the atmosphere is industrialization. To meet the increased demand of citizens in
this
technological era, more production is done by factories to fulfil it, which lead to air and water pollution as well as they use natural resources as fossil fuel. Take an example of plastic and materials made from plastic, they pollute the environment not only during the time of process but
also
after as a waste product.
Secondly
, lack of awareness among
people
is the root cause behind it.
People
are not conscious of the deleterious effects of their actions, and they break the rules only for their personal intention. The government of a particular nation, with the help of the local authorities, take some crucial steps to address these burning issues.
For instance
, the government can imply strict rules for their
people
such
as heavy fines, public cleaning duties, cut off electricity and water supply for some time.
In addition
to that, they can arrange camps and seminars to awake
people
about the hazardous impacts of pollution. Even schools and parents teach children the importance of a clean atmosphere which lead to a better society in future. Apart from
this
, trade agreements between two countries
also
a great idea to combat
this
situation. In recapitulation, I believe that more demands and lack of awareness are the main causes for decreased environmental quality. A better way to solve
this
problem is to impose strict rules against the law as well as a collaborative approach for the government of every country.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
