Some people think that success is the best measures of intelligence, while others think that intelligence can be measured by other ways. What is your opinion?
There has been an ongoing debate about how
intelligence
should be measured. Some individuals are inclined to believe that being successful is the prime measurement of cleverness, while others claim that intelligence
can be known through many other ways. If questioned, I am in unison with the latter view. My opinion will be elaborated on with appropriate examples in the forthcoming paragraphs.
There are various ways to estimate the intelligence
of an individual apart from how successful they are . Firstly
, a person can be considered intelligent by the ways he delivers his speech. By ,this
I mean that when one is confident with himself and believes that his statements are correct, that is
reflected within his speech and thereby gives a measurement of intelligence
. A person who is not smart might not be confident with his answers. Furthermore

Use cohesive linking words accurately and appropriately
Linking words are very important in your essay.
To score effectively on your IELTS exam, you should make an effort to implement short concise sentences coupled with linking words.
Almost every sentence in your essay should have a linking word of some sort.
In fact, the only sentences that can omit linking words are your background sentence and thesis.
