There is an increasing trend around the world to have a small family rather than a large family. What are the advantages of having a small family rather than a large family?

The proliferation of modernization changes the human mindset.
Although
in the prehistoric era, people promote a big family including more than five
children
, they restrict themselves to only one or two
children
. In
this
essay, I will examine what I consider to be the positive and negative aspects of having an offspring family from both
children
’s and parent’s perspectives. There are many main advantages of having a small family.
First
and foremost, parents are financially strong and have time to spend with their family. As they have only one or two
children
, they can easily maintain their financial investment and the time on their
children
’s education and basic needs.
Secondly
,
children
are getting more attention and quality of life than in a big family. Because a smaller family has only one or two
children
, they get more attention and emotional support than battling with six or seven siblings.
This
kind of support is essential for
children
, especially when they get older. There are,
however
,
also
some disadvantages of
this
phenomenon.
Firstly
, a smaller family’s
children
quickly get introverted because they do not have siblings to share their thoughts and feelings with.
For instance
, a study found that 85% of people who suffer from depression and loneliness belong to small families. Along with
this
, parents mostly spend their time in a shelter for their
children
, so they are not able to solve their problems on their own. They faced lots of difficulties in solving their personal and professional problems. Clearly, having five or more
children
in the family teach numerous life skills like sharing and adjustment. In conclusion, in the contemporary era, people diverted more towards having a smaller family
instead
of a big family in order to provide a better lifestyle and education to their
children
.

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
