Population explosion' is a concern for a few nations. Some countries formulated a one-child policy, and others are contemplating the same. Is it a right thing for a country to interfere in restricting population? Discuss.

The growth of the
population
is considered the most significant and critical threat to the environment today. While some countries have imposed laws on childbirth, there are others who are opposing it.
This
essay will discuss both sides of the arguments in depth;
however
, in my opinion, overpopulation can be the root cause of poverty, depletion of resources, and environmental pollution;
hence
, restrictions are required among overpopulated countries like India and China. With the emphasis on awareness of

control
, countries have implemented a one-child policy to

an extra reward if they have a single child.
On the contrary
, India now has
also
begun the same laws state-wise; recently, Uttar Pradesh and Assam chief ministers have announced that families with more than two
children
will lose their chance to work in government sectors. Over-
population
has contributed to the destruction of the environment with trees being chopped to give way to multistorey apartments, roads, and other manmade infrastructure.
On the other hand
, there are many who are not in favour of the one-child policy. They consider that family planning is the birthright of the individual, where no authorities can impose
such
laws it is up to the family to decide the number of
children
they want;
also

more breadwinners for the family. But
this
also
comes with riders.
For example
, if the family is not able to support the upbringing of their
children
,
this
can lead to adverse situations. After analysing both points, In my opinion, it is vital the government takes necessary measures to

this

menace by imposing educating the public, especially the lower strata of the society,
that is
the only way one can educate people and make them believe that
population
control
is the best worldwide.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
