In recent decades, the number of natural
disasters
has increased in some places over the world and caused many detrimental effects on people and properties. It is argued that undeveloped countries
should be assisted by rich countries
on humanitarian grounds to deal with natural disasters

statement.
To begin
with, wealthy nations have the advantages of technology to cope with natural disasters
. Rich nations have enough financial resources to provide aids to victims of disasters
. If developed countries
use innovations that could predict, avoid and even control natural disasters

could limit the damages from the natural disasters

, in the United Kingdom, some experts have developed a machine that can forecast storms. This
machine has been brought to Southeast Asia to help the local people prevent economic damages.
Furthermore
, the support of medical science
from wealthy nations is also
necessary on moral grounds. Advances in medicine
science
prevent the spread of dangerous epidemics and a large number of unnecessary deaths. For example
, In the COVID-19 epidemic, Africa went through a terrible pandemic with millions of deaths because many countries
do not have enough medicine
to offer to their citizens. United States gave support about medicine
science
valued at 2 billion USD to many African countries
to fight this
epidemic.
In conclusion, developed countries
should assist undeveloped countries
because they have advantages in equipment, economy and medicine
science
to deal with natural disasters
. It is hoped that in the near future, governments from both wealthy and poor countries
cooperate more to deal with natural disasters
