Many people say that the only way to guarantee a good job to complete a course of university education. Others claim that it is better to start work after school and gain experience in the world of work. Discuss both view and give your opinion.

Finding a good
job
has become a challenge that people all over the world has to be dealt with nowadays. Some people believe that, in order to get a good
job
, they should have a
university
degree while
others
think it is important to gain hands-on
experience
after the school
education
. In
this
essay, I will discuss both views and explain why
university
education
is a more valuable factor to get a better
job
.
To begin
with, some individuals believe that having
experience
in the world of
work
is more important than having a higher
education
in order to find a
job
. Since most companies prefer to hire experienced candidates for high paying executive-level
job
positions, starting a career after school would help to gain the
experience
that requires for the
job
role.
For instance
, while an individual studies a course that takes 4 years,
others
who choose to
work
instead
of study will gain 4 years of
experience
by the time his/her study completes.
Although
it is undeniable that
education
is important, prior experiences would guarantee a better
job
these days.
On the other hand
,
others
including myself believe that higher
education
plays an indispensable role in the
job
market. It is irrefutable that a well-educated person knows how to perform the
work
correctly and according to the quality standards as the
university
courses are focusing on these aspects.
For example
, any individual can become a software developer without a degree,
however
, the quality of works and skills are different compared to an engineer who has completed higher studies.
This
is because, during the course, students were taught not only software development
,

but quality engineering, project management as well. Because of that international companies only hire experienced individuals who have completed higher educations. It elucidates my point that when looking for a
job
, it is intuitively obvious that priority will be given to those who have completed
university
education
. In summary, in
this
decade, finding a
job
has been a challenging task. In
this
essay, I discussed points on why some people believe completing a course after school is better while
others
believe getting
work
experience
is more important.
Also
, I have elucidated the reason why I think higher
education
is providing a guarantee when looking for a stable and higher paying
job
.

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 250 words in writing task 2. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long essay will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 260 to 290 words in writing task 2. This will ensure a concise essay and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 40 minutes to write the essay and you need around 10 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long essay in 30 minutes.
