The table depicts the underground railway

 as London, Paris, Tokyo, Washington DC, Kyoto and Los Angeles with related data

 as date opened, kilometres of route and passengers per

 travelled. London is the oldest city amongst the cities in the table, which has the
first
 underground railway
system
 built in 1863 and has a vast network with 394kms in distance.
Furthermore
, Paris and Tokyo have the railway
system
 constructed in the years 1900 and 1927 respectively, with Paris having the
second
-highest passengers each
year
 and Tokyo having the highest
number
 of travellers which is 1927 million in

. It is evident that Washington DC has a comparable network distance to Tokyo’,
however

 of voyagers per

 is considerably lower than Tokyo’. Kyoto and Los Angeles have the most newly built railways

, developed in the years 1981 and 2001 respectively.
