The map illustrates the constructional changes that Ashford has underwent since 2010. Overall, the area has become more residential with the introduction of housing properties as well as recreational facilities. In 2010, Ashford was relatively sparsely populated with only a few houses on the East side of the map. As the region was separated by River Tam, a ferry was responsible for enabling transportation between the banks, by picking up passengers at the miniature wooden docks and traversing the body of water. Along the road which led to the city in the West lied a number of trees that clustered in the Northwest corner. Regarding the presence, there is the construction of five housing complexes alongside the stream together with an addition of two smaller houses in the Northeast quarter of Ashford.
