Government investment in the arts, such as music and theatre, is a waste of money. Governments must invest this money in public services instead. To what extent do you agree with this statement?

In most countries, a significant amount of budget spends on public
services
like health facilities or insurance, schools and science investigation, etc. and part of it spends on art activities like theatres and music. Some
people
argue that art’s investments are not necessary
in contrast
,
governments
should invest just for public service. I think that arts are important as well as public
services
in
society
. On the one hand, public
services
are vital for most countries so government should spend more on those.
Services
like school or hospital make the foundation of every
society
which improve the level of
people
life. Children should be thought of in the best way because they are who will make profits for the social and economic part of their future
society
.
In addition
,
governments
should concern about the health level of their countries and prepare more health facilities like hospitals and even gyms which help to have healthy
people
who can work more effectively for the community that it is beneficial for
governments
as well as themselves.
On the other hand
, art is an essential part of not only
people
’s lives but
although
governments
. Throughout history, some art events like concerts or theatres have been an important aspect of
people
's social life. Those are kinds of entertainment for
people
which help to raise the level of happiness and energy in
society
. While
this
is the one of noticeable concern of all government budget plan to spend for art’s event annually. In sum to, the spending money for arts not only is not waste but
also
it is vital for
society
.
However
, I think a big amount of the government’s budget should spend on public
services
which are
people
’s fundamental needs.
