Some parents prefer to stay in care homes after their retirement instead of staying with their children. Why is this happening? What are the advantages and disadvantages of this development?

It is well-known that some elder people make a decision to move to a care establishment once they become a pensioner
instead
of keeping living with their offspring.
This
essay will discuss the reason that causes
this
action among great age people and the pros and cons of
this
case.
First
of all, it deserves to note that there are a lot of pensioners who can not serve themselves on their own because they have serious health problems. At
this
point, when a parent can not eat by himself,
for example
, can bring a lot of issues to one’s children because they would be simply preoccupied with taking care of their parents.
For instance
, my mother
initially
tried to help my grandfather serve his needs because he experienced a brain disease that does not allow him to perform some simple actions
such
as consumption of food, taking a shower, and others. It was a tough time and the decision to move to a care home was taken. In
this
case, there are some evident benefits.
Firstly
, in a specific department, there is a purposely-educated staff who know exactly how to help people in a correct way.
Secondly
, there are some peers in
such
kinds of establishments who help to avoid filling of loneliness.
For example
, my grandfather started to get better in the company of his friends. No doubt that there are some drawbacks as well. A parent might start suffering from a lack of children’s attention especially if they had been living together for a long time in the same area. Another reason that might exist, they can not get a feel for the new environment in the establishment
that is
why it can affect their daily basis with the inconvenience.
For instance
, it took my grandfather a while to get into the company of his peers and start having a friendly relationship.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
