Bullying is a big problem in many schools. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Bullying is one of the major problems faced by schools and
students
nowadays. Even though the negative aspects of bullying is sufficiently addressed by the concerned authorities, it continues to run amok. Let us discuss the reasons for
this
and the solutions we can implement to prevent
this
from happening. The major reason for
this
is the lack of
awareness
among the general public including the
students
, teachers and parents. They think that bullying is essential for the child to toughen up and it can aid in their future life. But contrary to
this
it has been proved by scientific studies that bullying causes enormous mental scars to
children
and can negatively affect their life. Another reason for
this
is the fear of the
children
to report it to the authorities. Many times
children
feel that the bullying will increase or are ashamed to report it .
Children
sometimes lack trust in the authorities to confide and
this
makes many of the bullyings go unreported. Proper counselling and increasing
awareness
can be used to solve these major issues. Conducting classes or seminars for
students
,parents and teachers can be used to increase
awareness
.Individual counselling can be
also
used to identify
children
who are bullied.Strict punishments can
also
be used against the bully to prevent
this
from happening again. In
