It is generally believed that the internet is an excellent means of communication but some people suggest that it may not be the best place to find information. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In recent years, the
Internet
has had a significant influence on human life. It is widely believed that the
Internet
is a great way of communication. Some people,
however
, believe that the
information
found on the
Internet
is unreliable. In my opinion, these opinions have both positive and negative aspects. As a matter of fact, it is impossible to deny the positive impact the
Internet
has on our lives. With the development of
Internet
technology, distance has no longer been a barrier to communication. It is more and more common to communicate via the
Internet
. While we live in different locations, we are regularly connected to the
Internet
, which makes it easy to communicate. Aside from
this
, it is
also
a virtual library of
information
, containing vast amounts of data from a diverse range of subjects. Searching for
information
on the
Internet
is made easier for users. Traditionally, people would have to spend considerable amounts of time at the library or bookstore in order to do research.
However
, in the modern age, we can find the same
information
quickly on the
Internet
, by just making a few clicks. It should be noted,
however
, that not all the
information
on the website is accurate. A significant amount of false
information
is being published on
this
website.
As a result
, users are advised to select before keeping in mind. Due to the popularity and ease of access to the
Internet
, people are gradually becoming dependent on it,
such
as students, who do not struggle to complete their homework, but simply glance at the network and copy it.
Also
, the
Internet
engenders less face-to-face interaction between individuals. I believe that even though the
Internet
has numerous advantages to human life, there are still some drawbacks associated with its use.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
