Learning English at school is often seen as more important than learning local languages. If this are not taught, many are at risk of dying out.

Some people express their ideas about learning
English
as an international
language
highly recognise than learning the native
language
. Same as other people who think educating a foreign
language
would local
language
at risk. I am going to express my personal thoughts with some examples.
First
of all,
English
has become a global
language
at the moment in every way. As a basic example, a user who is unable to use new technology, if the person does not have
English
proficiency. When we discuss the working environment in an office, co-workers will speak in their native
language
.
However
, when it comes to documentation and communication,
such
as answering the phone, Emails and presentations would use in the
English
medium.
In addition
to that, most of the universities held their lectures in
English
medium, which will be easy for students to collect extra educational materials from international universities.
On the other hand
, some parts of the community believed that studying
English
at schools will lead to the dead-end of the native
language
. Those kinds of beliefs would depend on personal experience and troughs. When someone has a poor experience with the
English
language
, that person will make up their mind in a negative way. Most of the older generation identify learning
English
at school will lead the country of the colony of
English
speaking country. In my point of view, I would agree to teach the
second
language
as
English
would be more beneficial to the student and same as the local and global job market. The
English
as a global
language
who studied in the school would have more advantages in various sectors.
