These days, there are numerous changes in our lifestyles, especially for young
people
. Many
people
claim that encouraging
children
to read is hard.
This
essay will be discussed several reasons for
this
situation and possible practical ways to improve their reading. One of the main reasons is that the internet makes our life easier. To explain, the internet provides various learning sources from around the world. Most of them are free content.
Children
can study every time and everywhere they need by using only their electronic devices.
Books
are no longer needed. Youtube,
for example
, contains a variety of video clips that students can watch and learn without any charge. Another reason is that there are many learning facilities today.
Children
do have to rely on
books
anymore as many places in cities are available for them to explore. A good example is a science museum which gives not only scientific information but
also
entertainment to young
people
. There are a number of ways to improve reading in childhood.
First
of all, parents should promote
children
's reading behaviour since they were young by telling bedtime stories.
Also
, parents should buy them some
books
which propers their own ages.
Secondly
, governments should invest money in public libraries
such
as adding more local libraries and interesting
books
for all ages. To sum up,
books
are less popular for young
people
than in the past since they have the internet and other educational sites for their learning. To solving
this
problem, parents should include their kids in reading activities and governments have to spend the budget on public spaces
such
as libraries.
