You have just spent a week with a friend on holiday. When you got home, you realised you had left your wallet there. Write a letter to your friend, in your letter; Thank your friend for the holiday explain that you left your wallet in her house Give her instructions on how to send it back to you.

Dear Magret,
This
is to formally appreciate your kind gesture and generosity towards me during my short vacation at your place. I am glad I spent it with you. Thank you for your time and most especially for feeding me well. Upon my arrival back home, I noticed I forgot my purse at your place.
This
shows how much I enjoyed myself. I think it was when I wanted to make payment for the online shopping we did. I dropped it on the sofer in the living room, the one directly opposite the Television set. My elder brother will be coming to your city early
next
month, and
this
will be a great opportunity to send it through him. Kindly help me deliver the purse to his hotel when he arrives. I will send the address of the hotel and his phone number to you via the Whatsapp platform. I have
also
told him to refund you for the delivery fees. Yours Sincerely, Feyikemi Smith

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
