Families who do not sent their children to government-financed schools should not be required to pay taxes that support universal education. To what extend do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

The given discussion about the payment of
taxes
of parents who sent their
children
to private
institutions
has been part of several conversations throughout the years. Some people argue that families that sent their
children
to these expensive schools should be exempted from the tax payment for universal
education
,
however
, others argue that
taxes
must be equal for everyone to assure that every student receives the same level of
education
.
This
essay will assess both points of view granting my personal perception.
First
and foremost, private schools are always trying to compensate for the fact that they do not receive financial support from the government, as a consequence, families have to cover an extra amount of money beyond the tuition so their
children
receive high standard
education
. Without considering the debate of, which
education
is the best, parents normally sent their
children
to these high-priced
institutions
for two reasons: to receive a better
education
and for the chance of being accepted into better universities. As a personal example, as a Mexican, getting a private high-school
education
is essential if we want a good college
education
, beyond the extra effort from my mother to pay the tuition I was required to participate in raffles to contribute to the school.
On the other hand
, plenty of people claim that families that send their
children
to private schools are more wealthy and have the possibility to pay for the institution and for the
taxes
. Notwithstanding, students who attend these
institutions
are not always rich, in fact, most of them receive scholarships for different skills, sports, arts or outstanding academic trajectories. In the case of students that have earned the right of being in a private institution with the help of their academic merits, I would consider it unfair to charge them with an extra loan. Drawing from my experience, as a scholarship college student, I was required to maintain a high GPA as well as perform extracurricular activities of the university so my family could pay for the private
education
,
otherwise
Add a comma
,otherwise
show examples
the tuition would have been impossible to pay for. All things considered, I find myself in the middle of both views. On one hand, everyone should pay
taxes
to support universal
education
,
however
, if someone is sending their
children
to another institution that their
taxes
are not going to pay for, that person should not have to pay for someone else's
education
. A possible solution could be that those parents that decide to send their
children
to more expensive
institutions
should be required to pay a minimal quantity of money.
This
discussion will continue in the future and more possible solutions are required to find common ground.
