Many adults nowadays prefer spending their free time playing computer games. Why do they do this? Is this a positive or negative development?

We live in a world where modern technology and high tech products have been highly influenced and available everywhere. Survival without being addicted to new techs and
games
are not that easy for humans. At present, lots of grownups would like to accommodate the extra
time
in front of monitors playing
games
. I highly oppose
this
. Computerised
games
were introduced decades back. By the
time
it has been modernised and almost every person born in after the 1980s got addicted. But being an adult can we justify stick to the computers? Being a grownup comes with plenty of responsibilities. As an example, if a parent entertains himself with an Xbox, he would have missed being a responsible father to his kids. Not only that, he may have passed that notorious habit to his kids and already created another irresponsible person for the nation.
Moreover
, video
games
are freely available and easy to download to laptops, mobile phones and note pads. Even though it helps to release stress, the chances to get addicted are higher. And
also
, people play
games
while they commute to work and on their breaks. But if they could use that free
time
to educate themselves about the present world, it could be more useful for them. We live in the 21st century, where the world changes every
second
. Extra reading always helps every person. In conclusion, adults play
games
because they are addicted or to relieve their stress.
Consequently
, if they utilised their free
time
for more productive work, they could be more useful to the nation.
