Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

There is no doubt that in the era of the Internet, knowledge is power. While some people claim that it is good to share all
information
needed in scientific research, business, and the academic world, it is my opinion that some
information
is too crucial to be spread out freely. On the one hand, sharing as much
information
as possible is required in some situations.
This
is because there are new issues or crises that might arise and the logical method to solve these issues is by collaboration and everyone shares their knowledge.
For example
, in the ongoing Corona Virus pandemic, every country shared its observations about virus symptoms as well as scientific studies about its nature.
As a result
, after one year, multiple vaccines were produced to protect people from
this
virus and the huge pressure on hospitals started to decrease.
On the other hand
, I believe that it is pivotal to acknowledge the effect of sharing any
information
firstly
. The reason for
this
is that there is some sensitive
information
if it falls in the wrong hands,
this
Correct pronoun usage
which
show examples
will lead to undesirable consequences.
For instance
, Facebook had given the personal
information
of some segments of its users to some companies, and these companies used
this
type of
information
illegally.
Consequently
,
this
caused a negative effect on these people’s lives. What is more, if someone leaks
information
about a new confidential innovation that some country is working on,
for example
,
this
will lead to giving credits to the wrong people. As a consequence, that country that lost its innovation will suffer from economic losses. In conclusion, it is true that sharing as much
information
as needed is worthwhile in a few situations, but there are some other types of
information
that cannot be shared freely.
Therefore
, I am inclined to support the idea of not allowing all
information
because
this
can cause a negative effect on society as a whole.
