1. Some people say now there is less communication between the family members than in the past. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In a contemporary world, there is less communication between families. Some people believe that there are less discussion among relationship is happening nowadays, compared to the past, while others think it is not the case.
This
essay will discuss both aspects of why
this
is happening, and
then
I will give my final stance in conclusion. Communication is becoming difficult due to the busy schedule of each family member. Parents do not spare
time
for the family because of the professional workload, and children spend more
time
focussing on their studies.
For example
, family routine is become different for everyone, sometimes they can’t see each other in their timetable, while in free
time
children and parents both focus on online activities
then
speaking.
Moreover
, technology has
also
changed the lifestyle of families, and now social networking sites are more in trend rather than face to face discussion. It was not the case in an earlier
time
, where people were family-oriented and had more
time
for each other. The materialistic mentality is
also
the big reason for less communication in the current situation.
Furthermore
, the whole society is busy arranging luxury goods.
For example
, people in recent days doing hard work to fulfil the luxury needs like a car, large houses and huge savings. Considering both aspects, I strongly agree that the families in recent times have changed their priorities towards their relationships, especially they are allocating less
time
for interactions with each other. The hectic schedule and the money-oriented lifestyle are the main reasons.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
