Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. They say that the only way to make people recycle more is to make it a legal requirement. To what extent do you think laws are needed to make people recycle more of their waste?
Waste
is the main topic after the 19 th century because a lot of countries facing waste
management issues. There is a two type of garbage in the world. Disposal and non-disposal are the two types. I hold the view that government should have made new rules to increase recycling. In this
essay, I will discuss my opinion and give the reason for them.
Firstly
recent research
conducted by the environment unit of the University of Calgary suggests that the overall 70%percentage of world daily waste
could be recycled. Furthermore
, that research
provides us 15% of waste
only moves to recycle. Garbage is a source of electricity
although
only 18 countries using this
method to generate electricity
. Another research
suggests that waste
electricity
reduces the half amount of production cost. Brazil is the first
country that moves to waste
electricity
. if the residents throw garbage without recycling, it harms to country’s economy. in this
matter, the government should have to improve and maintain laws
for waste
management. Laws
will censorship of daily waste
. Laws
will help to gain the amount of electricity
. Which generate from waste
.
Secondly
, according to google statics more than 90 million tons of wastage newly adding to the environment. This
sharp harm to world environment diversity and natural beauty. In addition
, we want to make a better place for our next
generation so we recycle is the only resolution for it. The marine culture University of the United Kingdom publishes research
papers. Last
year, according to that 53,000 marine species die each year for consumption of plastic and polythene material. The saddest story of this
is, 12,000 among them are endangered species. For instance
, there was an incident that happen in Sri Lanka last
year. Sri Lanka has lost a large number of marine lives due to the fire of x press Perl yacht .due to laws
in place in Sri Lanka, the country was able to enforce the law against the company. Some argue that laws
couldn’t stop the increase of waste
. However
, laws
can reduce waste
and increase recycling also
.
To conclude, to streamline the process of managing the ever-increasing waste
and recycling process, the relevant governments must pass laws
and regulations that are relevant to the country.Submitted by nalindaliyanage on
