It is widely believed that an employee requires multiple
skills
to be successful in a career.

I believe that professional
skills
are more significant than social
skills
. In
this
essay, I will support my view with examples.
To begin
with, a worker needs sufficient
skills
to pursue a good job. One should understand that all highly skilled jobs need a minimum university qualification and its basic eligibility criteria for that profession.
For instance
, doctors who don't possess the right qualifications are a serious threat to a patient's life. In
this
case, social
skills
might not help without preliminary knowledge about the job. And
also
teachers who don't have the right amount of knowledge on the subject cannot deliver the appropriate content to students.
On the other hand
, social
skills
also
play a vital role in one's profession. An employee who cannot get along with co-employees develops a lot of stress because of the toxic environment. When professional stress and mental stress are kept aside employees can focus on productivity. It can help the individual to grow in his career with a positive attitude and being innovative. Aforementioned a doctor with good qualifications who cannot communicate with patients in a nice manner doesn't leave good feedback. And tutor's content is of waste if it cannot reach the students in the right manner. In conclusion, one needs to admit that these are two critical
skills
for an employee.
However
, when it comes to productivity, I consider professional
skills
to stand a degree above social
skills
and social
skills
are natural for any human being who lives in a society.
