some people think that government is wasting money on arts and this money is better spent some where else to what extent do you agree this view.

Arts
is a favourite pastime of mankind since the stone age. we see
this
by the discovery of hand drawings on caves in archaeological diggings. The interest in
arts
is widely encouraged and reached its peaks during the reigns of emperor Akbar. Though it has seen ups and downs, ongoing interest in
arts
is what we see. In the present era,
arts
form a way of expression, emotion and communication. Modern era government is encouraging various forms of
arts
like Music, dance, wall paintings. The idea behind
this
is that
arts
serve as a way of communication like
for example
painting walls with beautiful colours and designs encourages street hygiene and better garbage disposal.
Arts
also
influence the emotional health and well being of people, so policymakers find it as a way to keep them happy. Government spending money on
arts
is justified in other ways like
On the contrary
, Governments have fund scarcity to fulfil priority tasks like better roads, utilities at subsidy or cheaper price, advanced health care establishments and educational benefits to students. Allotting funds to
arts
are like diverting them from essential services.
Arts
are a taste of rich so poor people are not fancy about them. I partly agree with the statement that money spent on
arts
is waste, but I believe that careful allotment and fund utilisation with checkpoints minimises misutilization.
