It is generally believed that the internet is an excellent means of communication but some people suggest it may not be the best place to find information. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Currently, there are some disputes about the advantages of using the
Internet
. It is commonly considered that the
Internet
is a necessary and useful way of communication while some speculate that we can not rely on the
Internet
in terms of getting
information
. In
this
essay, I will discuss both views and explain why the
Internet
is a necessary part of our life in all spheres and why we should be concerned about another side of the
Internet
. On the one hand, the
Internet
modified our way of communication. Due to various online applications and social media, our life became much easier. Compared to past times, we have the opportunity to send a message or call other
people
who are in different locations.
For example
, numerous students move from their parents to other cities in order to get high education. The possibility to contact

their parents via online video chat alleviate the lives of both students and parents.
Moreover
, we have an amazing chance to make friends with
people
from different countries. It not only brings
people
from different nations together but
also
reinforces international communication.
For example
, the growth in the number of marriages between Russian and Korea in the
last
decade led to cooperation between these two countries.
On the other hand
, some
information
on the
Internet
might be incorrect. The
Internet
provides us with all kinds of
information
which were made by humans. Most of the databases are delivered by professional researchers whose investigations can be proven.
However
, some facts can be incorrect and lead to confusion. Some
people
who are not experts in a particular sphere just provide society with irrelevant
information
.
For example
, some journalists write on their sites different rumours about celebrities which in fact are not real.
Hence
, we should not trust all data that are on the
Internet
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
