Rich countries often give financial aid to poor countries, but it does not solve the poverty, so rich countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than the financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Many people argue that developed
countries
should financially help poor
countries
while others insist that financial aid is not effective at curbing poverty and
therefore
other forms of
assistance
are required. In my opinion, rich
nations
should provide other forms of aids
besides
economic help to those
countries
in need.
First
of all, providing financial help may seem like a solution as it will temporarily relieve a country of its economic problems.
However
, financial help alone will not work in the long term for several reasons. To start with, financial
assistance
does not always reach the poor and the needy. Some of the poorest
countries
have corrupt governments that misappropriate foreign aids to serve their own interests. Needless to say, the poor will remain poor even after receiving
assistance
from abroad.
Thus
, obviously, financial help has its limitations and

, it is equally important or even better to provide practical
assistance

For example
, rich
countries
can help to construct schools and hospitals in poor

offer practical

to poor

, they can produce better results.
For example
, investing in the educational infrastructure is one of the most effective ways for rich

share their knowledge of improved agricultural practices with poor

This
will help the latter increase their yield.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
