Nowadays people are affected by social media and internet. Is it a good or bad trend in your opinion? Explain it by giving your own examples.

In recent years, social media and the internet have had
such
 a huge impact on many
people
. I personally believe that it is a bad trend, due to two primary reasons, not only can it make
people
 feel depressed but it can
also
 make
children
 behave inappropriate behaviour. To start with, in many social media applications,
such
 as, Instagram or Facebook,
people
 tend to tell only their good stories and upload some pictures that show how much happy they are. These things can affect some
people
 who are not in a state of being happy feel bad sometimes,
moreover
, if rich
people
 upload something like a diamond ring, obviously, there will be
people
 who envy them and want to have those things too, even though, they are not necessity items.
In addition
, it can
also
 have an influence on
children
.
For example
, in my country, especially in the TikTok application, the
children
 will copy adult behaviour
that is
 not inappropriate, like smoking when they are still underage. Some
children
 do not have much critical thinking, when they read some pieces of information, they have a tendency to believe it instantly,
although
 they come from unfaithful sources. In conclusion, the effects of social media and the internet are not good for some
people
 and
children
, and we can consider them as a bad influence since they can affect some
people
 emotions and can influence the
children
 to behave inappropriately.
