Some parents think that childcare centres provide the best services for children of preschool age. Other working parents think that family members such as grandparents will be better caregivers for their young children. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Today majority of couples are working due to which they take help of either
childcare
centre
or depend on family members
like grandparents
for taking care
of their children
.Some think childcare
centre
provides better care
while some think the other way round. Both views are discussed further
in the essay.
Grandparents
are the senior members
of the family, they have immense knowledge and experience in raising a child
properly.In addition
,they love the child
unconditionally and know better what will be good or bad for the children
whether it is related to food, education or behaviour. Moreover
, parents
can go to work stress-free about the safety and health of their child
if a family member accompanies them to their own home
.What's better than having undivided care
and attention for the children
in a safe environment.However
, if senior members
like grandparents
are not in a good health then
it will be difficult for them to manage the children
routinely.
On the other hand
, childcare
services offer good care
and a safe environment but parents
couldn't fully rely on them as they have other children
also
so it's not necessary that they give proper attention to them.Additionally
, they are expensive so parents
have to pay fees and also
have to pay for other stuff like food, clothes and toys which children
use during their stay.However
, children
in the childcare
centre
stay and play with each other which develop their social skills.
In conclusion, the child
can learn and develop in both the situation whether in a childcare
service or at home
with family members
but, in my opinion,home
is the safest place and family members
like grandparents
are the best tutor and caretaker of a child
so if its convenient parents
should leave their child
at home
with family members
rather than opting childcare
centre
