Influence of human beings on the world ecosystem is leading to the extinction of species and loss of biodiversity. What are the primary causes of loss of bio diversity? What solution can you suggest.
The extinction of
species
and the loss of biodiversity has been impacted by human beings as the world
ecosystem. Although
there are some causes of this
negative trend, there are some solutions for this
.
The first
aspect to point out is that the loss of land for some species
is one of the causes. Overpopulation has become one of the concerns in modern society. As the population has been expanding in the world
, the habitats for wild animals has been demolished. There is much less nature in the world
where these animals can feed themselves and breed. Another reason is that air pollution affects some of the species
. If the air is polluted, the rain is also
polluted. As a result
, not only some species
in the ocean are affected, but the plants in the natural areas
are also
damaged by the polluted water. Therefore
, many species
in the world
is at risk of extinction.
However
, there are some solutions for this
negative development. Firstly
, people should move to rural areas
with conditions. It seems to have the same issues in the future if individuals live in remote areas
. However
, the government could restrict the number of facilities in those areas
in order to protect the habitats for the wild animals in the countryside. Secondly
, the public needs to be aware of the negative impact of the usage of vehicles. If they used more public transports on a daily basis, the amount of air pollution would reduce gradually. This
would be beneficial for biodiversity in the world
.
To conclude, human beings have been damaging the whole ecosystem. Therefore
, the onus is on the public to try to bring back nature as it used to be.Submitted by hiromi-o.1828 on
