Recent figures show an increase in violent crime among youngsters under the age of 18. Some psychologists claim that the basic reason for this is that children these days are not getting social and emotional learning they need from parents and teachers.

Juvenile crime is always a controversial topic at
home
and at school. Many
people
agree that children tend to behave violently
as a
result
of not getting sufficient schooling from guardians or teachers. Others,
however
, disagree that education is not the only reason for criminal
violence
among young
people
. While both sides are convincingly rational, I strongly believe that a high prevalence of juvenile crimes is due not only to inadequate education but
also
to peer pressures and social media. On the one hand, it is widely agreed that incorrect education at school and at
home
impacts negatively on adolescent
behaviours
. From a social perspective, bad parental role models at
home
have significantly negative impacts on the emotional and mental development of children.
In particular
, experiencing or witnessing domestic
violence
at
home
results in a misunderstanding about that
violence
can resolve any conflict.
Moreover
, if teachers use punishment to try dealing with stubborn students, those immature students might think punishment represents being powerful.
As a
result
of that false thought, those students might commit juvenile crimes.
On the other hand
, from my point of view, having unhealthy relationships with their peers could lead to violent
behaviours
among young
people
.
For example
, there are so many accidents of using
violence
among schoolers who do have rivalry relationships with each other. That issue could explain that why young
people
view their friends as their foes

when they do not get along well with their friends.
Furthermore
, I personally believe that teenagers may be encouraged to accept
violence
through the freely accessible Internet. Some websites containing violent content do not check the eligible age of users even it to detrimentally mental impacts on teenagers.
For instance
, game addiction is a
result
of assessing the Internet freely, which might cause depression
as a
result
of sleeping deprivation and unacceptable behaviour in a social context. In conclusion, parents’
behaviours
and teachers’
behaviours
could directly cause criminal
violence
among young
people
. In my opinion, conflict relationships with their friends and the availability of Internet access
also
have roles in causing juvenile crimes.
