During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants. Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter • Remind him when and where you met. • Tell him what kind of job you are interested in. • Say why you think you would be suitable for the job.

Dear Mr Amiri, You might not remember me ,since we met a month ago on a journey which was from Tehran to Isfahan . My name is Sara and I sat
next
to you on the plane ,and we talked about our jobs whole the time and
finally
, you recommended me a job in one of your restaurants . Fortunately , since four years ago I have been working as a sales manager of a prominent company which I told you about it before.
Therefore
, I really want to work as a sales manager of your restaurant which is my desire. I say
this
because through these years I really become successful and my company has improved completely and all of my managers satisfied with my job. In the end , I am looking forward to receiving your answer and I hope I could be a perfect employee for your industry . Yours Faithfully, Sara Ahmadi

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
